Engineering Animation, Inc. and Sirtech Software, Inc. team up to develop Sirtech's flagship 3D multi-player title with Internet capability

Ogdensburg, New York, July 16, 1996 -- Sirtech Software, Inc. announced today that an agreement has been signed with Engineering Animation, Inc. (EAI) for the development of a 3D multi-player computer game for the Internet.

Engineering Animation, a leader in 3D animation and visualization products, has developed proprietary animation software tools to produce highly-detailed 3D animations. EAI has produced computer animated movies for automotive manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, science museums, and universities. Some of their clients include companies such as 3M, Abbott laboratories, Deere & Co., Merck & Co., Inc., General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler. EAI productions have featured on programs such as NBC's Today show, CBS Nightly News, The Discovery Channel, and many others.

The company's interactive division, which produces top quality multimedia products, has forged relationships with leading publishers including subsidiaries of Times Mirror, Time Warner and Elsevier Science. EAI has been recognized for its quality computer animation technology by the International Animated Film Society, the Telly Awards, the I*Magic Festival Multimedia Awards and the Association of Medical Illustrators, among others.

Bryan Brandenburg who heads up EAI's Salt Lake City interactive production office says, "EAI's game engine will display up to 65,000 colors on a full screen scrolling background with complete support for Microsoft's Direct X technology. Players will be able to extend the game by downloading new scenarios and hero sets over the Internet. We will use our custom Internet game server functionality which will clearly surpass existing technology."
